Thane: The Navi Mumbai police have registered a criminal offence of repeated rape on a 30-year old by an alleged accused of 27 years from Digha of Navi Mumbai the police said.
The Rabale MIDC police have on Saturday registered the FIR against the accused identified as Hariom Ashok Dadwal. No, no arrest is made in this connection so far.
The police have registered the FIR under sections 376,376(2)(n),323,504 and 506 are 34 of the IPC and also section 3 of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
The victim told the police in her complaint that she knew the accused for a long and he used to promise her that he would marry her and rape her several times. When she asked him to marry he would at times refuse and abuse and beat her.
On some occasions, he would ask her to have sex with his friends, which she did out of fear.
IT was on September 21, he came to the place of work she worked in Thane city and forcibly took her away and forced on her in a car and gave threats and beat her up.
Meanwhile, he also got her pills to avoid her pregnancy. The victim said that when enough was enough she approached the police and filed the present complaint.
The local police are probing into the case it was stated.
Meanwhile, on Sunday the victim addressed a news conference where she narrated her woes.
The NCP Digha President Annu Angre who was also present for the conference alleged that the leaders of a political party were accommodating such criminal elements who were into a crime against women which was not tolerable he said.
He said that he would take the victim to Thane Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for justice he said.
