PM Modi interacts with Cadet of Imphal Sainik School

Imphal: Cadet Memota Keisham, a girl cadet of Class-X of Sainik School Imphal in Manipur brought immense pride to the school and the state of Manipur by interacting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the flagship programme “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 (PPC)”. 

She is the only student to represent the state and the first female cadet from all the Sainik Schools with the rare privilege of interacting with the Hon’ble PM, in recognition of her strong communication skills, creativity, critical thinking and confidence.

The interaction, which took place on 22 January 2026 was broadcast nationwide. 37 students across India were selected for this prestigious interaction. 

Cadet Memota Keisham hails from Langthabal Khunou of Thoubal District, and is the eldest daughter of Keisham Debendra Singh and Smt Maibam Tilotama Devi. 

The Principal of Sainik School Imphal, felicitated Cadet Memota Keisham for bringing pride and glory to the school and Manipur. He highlighted that her achievement serves as a great source of motivation and inspiration for students across the Sainik Schools and the state of Manipur.
