New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag at Red Fort on 75th Independence Day.
Prime minister Modi earlier went to Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
He was received at Red Fort by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and his junior Ajay Bhatt.
Prime Minister also inspected the Guard of Honour. He entered the fort from the historic Lahori gate.
