PM meets authors of ‘Modi Stole My Mask’

Panaji/New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met journalists and authors of ‘Modi Stole My Mask’ Savio Rodrigues and Amit Bagaria in New Delhi.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, ‘Happy to have met @AmitBagaria12 and you, @PrinceArihan. You have demonstrated a good grasp of data as well as facts. Happy to see people engaging in research-led writing, with a dash of creativity.’

Responding to the PM’s tweet, Mr Rodrigues, who is also Editor-in-Chief of Goa Chronicle.com, said, ‘Meeting with the PM of India was enriching and a dialogue of three minds on issues plaguing India. First statement of @narendramodi ‘Remove your mask and take a picture, after all you told everyone that #ModiStoleMyMask. Touched by his words of encouragement.’

‘Thank you for taking time out to meet with us @narendramodi. My parents, wife, and children are over the moon. They feel that 960 plus hours on the book by @AmitBagaria12 and me was worth it because it was the truth and that you appreciated our hard work with its critical points,’ he said.

Mr Bagaria, who is author of 13 books, and Columnist, said, ‘Meeting with the PM of India was enriching and a dialogue of three minds on issues plaguing India.
