Imphal: A Self style Major of the banned People’s Liberation Army (PLA) was nabbed by troops of Assam Rifles and Manipur Police from Moirang, Bishnupur district on Tuesday.
An Assam Rifles official said the senior officer of PLA was held in a joint operation by the combined force.
He was allegedly involved in recruitment of youths, IED threats and revenue collection.
He was handed over to Moirang Police Station for further investigation.
