Pherzawl: To commemorate 10 years of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative, the District Administration of Pherzawl, in collaboration with the Pherzawl District Police, organized a cycle and bike rally today.
The rally, which aimed to promote the message “Save the Girl Child: Educate the Girl Child,” was flagged off by Superintendent of Police, T. Lalboi Haokip. It is part of a broader campaign scheduled to run from January 22 to March 8.
In addition, the District Women Police conducted an awareness campaign focusing on women-centric provisions under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The initiative sought to educate and empower women by providing insights into their legal rights within the Indian legal framework.
