Pherzawl: In a renewed push to combat substance abuse at the grassroots level, a series of Anti-Drug Club Poster Campaigns were conducted across key educational institutions in the district today.
The initiative, spearheaded by the Zonal Education Office (ZEO), Pherzawl, was organised under the compelling theme “High on Life, Not on Drugs.” The campaign was carried out at Lungthulien JB School and Junior High School, engaging students directly in spreading awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.
A similar programme was also held at Parbung Higher Secondary School, where the message “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life” was strongly emphasized.
As part of the outreach, students displayed anti-drug posters at key locations across Lungthulien and Parbung villages, aiming to engage the wider community. The posters served as visual reminders of the dangers associated with substance abuse and the importance of collective action.
The drive underscores a collaborative approach between educational institutions and the district administration, marking a proactive step towards fostering a drug-free environment in Pherzawl.
