Deoghar: Chief Minister Hemant Soren continued his campaigning for the bypolls on Madhupur seat of Jharkhand Assembly during which in an indirect attack on the BJP he said that nowdays politics is no longer about serving the society but it has become more of a trade.
He said that the party which claims to be the largest party in the world could not find a candidate from its own and has brought a candidate from outside. He said that BJP and their leaders are opposite of what they say and promise therefore the people should not waste their votes. Hemant Soren said that as part of tributes to late Haji Hussain Ansari his son Hafizul has been made a minister however whether he will remain a minister or not it is for the people, farmers and women of Madhupur to decide.
He said that the people taught a lesson to such parties in 2019 who had mislead and looted the state for two decades but these forces are yet to mend their ways. Hemant Soren said that the previous government had deleted 11.50 lakh ration cards but his government made new 15 lakh ration cards.
The acting president of JMM said that his government has framed rules that people above 60 years of age whether APL or BPL all will get pensions. He said that he had also demanded the centre to frame laws to protect the rights of the workers which is yet to be formed.
He said that his government will fight for the rights of the workers and also assured that the problems of contractual employees and para teachers will be solved. Hemant Soren said that the previous government had closed 5000 schools only to make sure that children of poor do not become educated but his government has decided to make 5000 model schools.
