Gaza: The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said on Wednesday that they had managed to evacuate patients, injured and medical staff from Al-Quds Hospital in the Gaza Strip on November 14.
“It was a challenging and perilous day. Today, we managed to evacuate the patients, the wounded, their families, and the medical teams trapped in Al-Quds Hospital, compelled by the tragic situation that had befallen the hospital. This comes after more than ten days of siege, during which medical and humanitarian supplies were prevented from reaching the hospital,” the PRCS wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
On Monday the PRCS said a convoy that departed from southern Gaza north toward Al-Quds Hospital to evacuate people left there had to turn back due to strikes.
