Gangtok:Sikkim’s Chief Secretary, Vijay Bhushan Pathak, met with Chairperson Locket Chatterjee of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Food Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution System here on Wednesday.
She was joined by 9 other member MPs of the Committee with Lok Sabha Secretariate Officers.
As per MP Locket Chatterjee, the committee reviewed several programmes to protect consumer rights in the North Eastern State. Chaired the PSC’s meeting on FCA and public distribution on Wednesday.
Secretary Food & Civil Supplies, Deepa Thapa was actively present with the officers of the Department.
