ONGC donates 18 ILRs for safe storage of Covid vaccine in Tripura

These refrigerators have been supplied by ONGC Foundation in New Delhi and the items have been delivered to the respective designated places of their use in last three days.

Agartala: The state owned ONGC has provided as many as 18 small and large Ice Lined Refrigerators (ILR) for transportation and storage of Covid-19 vaccine to all eight districts of Tripura for safe storage and transportation of the vaccine, said an ONGC communique.

These refrigerators have been supplied by ONGC Foundation in New Delhi and the items have been delivered to the respective designated places of their use in last three days.

The ILR facility of West Tripura District was formally inaugurated today at the office of National Health Mission of Tripura by Asset Manager of ONGC Tripura asset Tarun Malik.

Malik told media that the unique initiative of ONGC under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was undertaken considering the need to augment the resources to fight Covid-19.

He also reaffirmed that ONGC is committed to the development of Tripura.
