Imphal: Modi Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) apprehended one suspected UNLF insurgent at Beru Khullen, Chandel District, Manipur on November 16, 2022.
Based on specific input, troops of Assam Rifles launched an operation that led to the apprehension of insurgent from General Area Beru Khullen village, Chandel District.
The insurgent has been handed over to Chandel Police Station for further action, said a press note issued by the PRO cell, AGAR(S).
