Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 caseload rose to 16,842 with detection of a fresh case of infection in the last 24 hours.
The new case reported from West Kameng is security personnel. The patient is asymptomatic, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.
With this, active cases in the state rose to three. The remaining two cases are from Papum Pare and Changlang.
According to the bulletin, the recovery tally remained at 16,783 as no patient was discharged in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is over 99 per cent.
The death toll stood at 56.
