Imphal: One person was injured in a bomb blast on Saturday night in Manipur’s Churachandpur district , police aid on Sunday.
The bomb was placed inside a dustbin in the Salem Ven area, near the gate of an Independent candidate, James of Churachandpur Assembly constituency.
Deepak who was nearby reportedly poured water at the dustbin which resulted in the blast.
He was undergoing treatment at Imphal. Police have started a probe.Â
