No deaths reported Thursday in Manipur, 7 test positive

The number of active cases is 53 (general population 42 and CAPF 11). The recovery rate is 98.53%.

Imphal: Manipur reported no deaths due to the |Covid-19 pandemic in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Thursday, the cumulative death toll stays at 373. During this period, 7 persons (3 males, 4 females)) from the general population tested positive, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.

The 7 persons who tested positive from the general population include 3 from Imphal West and 2 each from Thoubal and Churachandpur.

Meanwhile, 3 persons recovered and were discharged from Home Isolation,JNIMS and SHRI.

 The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,155 (General Population — 25,725 and Central Security Personnel — 3,430). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,729 (General Population — 25, 314 and Central Security Personnel — 3,415). The number of active cases is 53 (general population 42 and CAPF 11). The recovery rate is 98.53%.

Total number of those vaccinated Thursday is 2197 and the cumulative vaccination number is 15944.

The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 14313. This include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs 78 persons were given Covid-19 vaccine on Sunday and that the cumulative no of people vac, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
