No deaths reported Saturday also in Manipur, recovery rate reaches 98.63%

Imphal: Saturday also saw no reports of any deaths in Manipur while 2 females fromĀ  the general population belonging to Imphal East and Noney tested Covid-19 positive. Meanwhile, 4 persons recovered and were discharged, 2 from home isolation and 1 each from JNIMS and SHRI, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,288 (General Population ā€” 25,854 and Central Security Personnel ā€” 3,434). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,884(General Population ā€” 25,455 and CAPFā€” 3,429). The number of active cases is 33(general population 30 and CAPF 1). Recovery rate is 98.63%.

As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on March 5, is 2816 and the cumulative vaccination number is 65465, the release added.

The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 30079 which include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnosticsā€™.

There are no severe reactions/allergies, adverse event following immunization till date. There were 47 mild reaction who were on home care and all of them have now fully recovered.
