Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Friday, Manipur reported no Covid-related deaths. During the same period, four persons tested positive while nine persons recovered and were discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the four persons who tested positive from the general population, two are from Imphal West while the other two are from Kakching.
A total of 614 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of.7 %
Meanwhile, nine persons recovered and were discharged, six of them from home isolation, two from CCCs and one from RIMS.
The recovery rate of the state now stands at 98.38 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 039 out of which 1, 34, 816 have recovered leaving 103 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on March 17, is 2,907, the cumulative number of doses administered is 27,65,368 (1st dose 15,26, 462, 2nd dose 11,74, 568) and precautionary dose 64,338.
