Imphal: Manipur did not register any Covid related death in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Saturday During the same period 13 persons from the general population tested coronavirus positive and 17 persons recovered and were discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 13 persons who tested positive from the general population, six each are from Imphal West and Imphal East and one from Kakching. Altogether, 1,088 persons were tested for a positivity rate of 1.2%.
Meanwhile, 17 persons recovered and were discharged, two of them from home isolation, eight from CCCs, six from JNIMS and one from RIMS. The recovery rate in Manipur now stands at 98.26 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 25,706 out of which 1,23,524 have recovered, leaving 182 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on December 24, 2021, is 4,363, the cumulative number of doses administered is 22,94,136 (1st dose 13,18,739, 2nd dose 9,75,397).
