Imphal: No Covid related death was reported in Manipur in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Sunday while during the same period, 14 persons from the general public tested positive and 22 persons recovered and were discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 14 persons who tested positive from the general population, six of them are from Imphal East, four from Imphal West, three from Thoubal and one from Bishnupur. Altogether 1,206 persons were tested giving a positivity rate of 1.2%
Meanwhile, 22 persons recovered and were discharged, 12 of them from home isolation, seven from CCCs and three from JNIMS. The recovery rate in Manipur now stands at 98.26%
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 25,627 out of which 1,23,437 have recovered, leaving 195 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on December 18, 2021, is 4,918, the cumulative number of doses administered is 22,68,207 (1st dose 13,11,232, 2nd dose 9,56,975).
