Pune:Night temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Telangana; at isolated places over coastal Andhra Pradesh; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over north Interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema; at many places over Odisha; at a few places over Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal; at isolated places over Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Marathwada. They were appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over east Madhya Pradesh; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at a few places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and west Madhya Pradesh; at isolated places over east Rajasthan, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Gujarat Region,
Vidarbha and near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 5.3°C reported at Churu (west Rajasthan) over the plains of the country.
Thunderstorm or lightning observed(from 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of today) at isolated places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
The Northeast Monsoon has been vigorous over Rayalaseema.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places over Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, north interior Karnataka and Kerala. Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kasmir and Ladakh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Lakshadweep.
