NCC ‘C’ Certificate Examination conducted in Manipur

Imphal: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) held the C-Certificate Examination in Manipur on Sunday, marking a significant milestone in youth empowerment within the state.

The examinations were conducted at Sainik School, Imphal, Chandel, Churachandpur, and Ukhrul, with 366 Senior Division cadets participating enthusiastically.

The ‘C’-Certificate Examination is a crucial assessment within the NCC framework, designed to evaluate cadets’ proficiency in various military and leadership skills. It tests their knowledge in subjects such as weapon training, drill practices, map reading, and fieldcraft.

Brigadier S.R. Sharma, SM, VSM, Group Commander of Group HQ NCC Imphal, visited Sainik School during the event and underscored the examination’s importance in shaping the future leaders of the state. He emphasized, “The ‘C’-Certificate Examination not only evaluates the cadets’ skills but also instills in them a sense of responsibility and commitment.”

The event received commendable support from the Armed Forces, including the Army and Assam Rifles, as well as from local authorities, educational institutions, and the community, reflecting a collective dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
