National Youth Day & Rajmata Jijau Jayanti celebrated at Nanded

Nanded: National Youth Day and Rajmata Jijau Jayanti was celebrated on Thursday with various programs at Shankarao Chavan College, Ardhapur in Nanded district of Maharashtra.


The program was organised jointly by Regional Communications Bureau, Nanded, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India and Shankarao Chavan College, Ardhapur.

Speaking on this occasion Dr Nitin Anbhule ,Head of English Department of Shri Dutt College, Hadgaon appealed to Youths to follow Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts and ideals and work for national development along with self-development.

On this occasion Dr. Shankarao Chavan College Principal on the platform. K.K. Patil, Director of Sports Department Dr. Dr. Vikram Kunturwar, National Service Scheme Program Officer. Birajdar, Dr. Pathan, Central Bureau of Communications, Regional Publicity Officer Madhav Jaibhaye, Assistant Publicity Officer, Sumeet Dodal and other dignitaries were present.


Dr Anbhule further said ,Swami Vivekananda had great faith in power. Everyone should imbibe his teachings that strength and knowledge is life, weakness and ignorance is death and move towards success by adopting inspiration, vitality and enthusiastic life.


While principal Patil expressed Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts and ideals in a very simple style to the students.He also called the entire world for universal brotherhood and expressed the need to lead a characterful life.
On this occasion, Shahir Ramesh Giri’s Shiv Shakti Kala Mancha won the hearts of all those present by performing patriotic songs.


Various sports, rangoli and essay competitions were organised on the occasion of this youth day.


The winning students were felicitated with certificates and prizes by dignitaries.


The program was introduced by Madhav Jaibhaye and moderated by Dr. Sainath Shetod and Dr. Pathan .
