Kohima: Nagaland on Tuesday reported 15 new covid positive cases in the past 24 hours taking the total tally in the state to 35,793 with a total of 87 active cases.
With a report of one more patient died on Monday, the total death toll remained at 771.
According to the official bulletin on Tuesday, the fresh 15 new COVID case was reported on Monday with three cases from Wokha, two from Dimapur, two from Kohima, two from Longleng, two from Mokokchung, two from Mon, one from Kiphire, and one from Zunheboto, taking the total number of total COVID19 cases in Nagaland to 35,793.
In the recovery of COVID patients, with the recovery of eight more patients in the last 24 hours, four patients in Kohima, two in Mon, one in Dimapur, and one in Mokokchung, taking the total number of recoveries increased to 33,432. Out of the 87 active cases in the state, 39 are asymptomatic, 45 mild, and three severe on oxygen, the report added.
