Kohima: Nagaland on Monday reported 10 new covid positive cases in the past 24 hours taking the total tally in the state to 35,693 with a total of 92 active cases.
With a report of one more patient dying on Sunday, the total death toll remained at 767.
According to the official bulletin on Monday, the fresh COVID 10 cases were reported on Sunday with four cases in Mokokchung, three cases in Kohima, two cases in Dimapur, and one case in Phek.
Out of a total sample of 47 were tested and the positivity rate on Sunday stood at 21.28%.
The active cases have increased to 92 on Sunday with one patient who died in the Intensive Care Unit, who is on a ventilator in Dimapur. There was also one patient in the Intensive Care Unit who is on a ventilator in Dimapur out of the 92 active cases in the state, while 4 were designated as moderate on oxygen, with a total of 37 were asymptomatic while 49 were said to be showing mild symptoms.
On the recovery front in Nagaland with seven recoveries, which included five in Kohima, one in Dimapur, and one in Zunheboto, the total recovered patients rose to 33,335, with the recovery rate standing at 93.59 percent, the report added.
