Nagaland records 94 new COVID positive cases

Altogether 108 patients, who previously tested positive for the virus, have recovered on Tuesday, taking the recovery tally to 22,534.

Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland yesterday further came down to 94 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID- 19 cases with this total of 25, 111 patients so far as of yesterday.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 94 fresh COVID cases yesterday, out of them 26 cases in Mokokchung, 21 cases in Dimapur, 14 in Kohima, eight in Peren, six in Kiphire-6, five in Phek, five in Tuensang, five in Zunheboto, two in Mon and two in Wokha, taking the total caseload to 25,111.

Accordingly, the number of active cases in the state stands at 1,523. The Health Department bulletin informed that 1,311 active cases were asymptomatic, 154 mild symptomatic, 33 were moderate on oxygen, 11 were severe on oxygen, 7 were in ICU without oxygen and 7 were in ICU with oxygen.

Altogether 108 patients, who previously tested positive for the virus, have recovered on Tuesday, taking the recovery tally to 22,534. The death toll remained unchanged at 493 as no fresh fatality was reported yesterday.
