Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland increased to 81 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID -19 cases with this total of 27, 024 patients so far as of yesterday.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 81 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from all eight districts of Nagaland with 37 cases in Kohima, 18 cases in Dimapur, nine in Mokokchung, eight in Peren, three in Phek and three in Wokha, two in Kiphire and one in Mon, taking the caseload to 27024.
In the recovery of COVID-19 infected patients, altogether 60 patients are recovered in past 24 hours in the stat, which became a total of 24,494 recovery so far and the recovery rate is now stands at 90.63 per cen. Nagaland has now 1,237 active cases.
With one more death, that was reported in Dimapur, the death toll surged to 536, the bulletin said.
