Nagaland records 77 new COVID positive cases

With two more patients succumbed to virus infection in Mokokchung the death toll to 585, the bulletin said.

Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland Sunday decreased to 77 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID -19 cases to 28,628 and the death toll to 585.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin Monday, among the 106 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from ten districts of Nagaland with 28 cases in Kohima, 28 cases in Dimapur, nine in Mokokchung, six in Tuensang, two in Phek, two in Zunheboto, one in Kiphire and one in Wokha, taking the total caseload to 28628.

On the recovery of COVID-19 patients, altogether 89 patients recovered in the past 24 hours, taking to total recovery to 25,846 people. Nagaland has a total of 1380 active cases, out of them 1122 patients are asymptotic, 204 are with a mild symptom, 22 are moderate with oxygen, 17 are severe with oxygen, five are critical in ICU without ventilator and 10 are in ICU with ventilator.
