Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland decreased to 54 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID -19 cases with this total of 27, 362 patients so far as of yesterday.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 68 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from all seven districts of Nagaland with 19 cases in Mokokchung, 15 cases in Dimapur, 11 in Kohima, four in Tuensang, three in Peren, one in Mon and one in Phek, taking the total caseload to 27362.
In the recovery of COVID-19 infected patients, altogether 78 recoveries in the last 24 hours and the total recovery increased to 24,793. As on yesterday the State had 1,256 active cases now.
With three more deaths, that was reported two in Dimapur and one in Mokokchung, the death toll surged to 545, the bulletin said.
