Kohima: In the latest COVID-19 situation in Nagaland, the number of cases decreased to 54 Sunday, which increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases to 30,356 and with no deaths, the death toll remained at 626.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin Monday, among the 54 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from five districts of Nagaland with 15 cases reported in Mon, 13 cases in Kohima, 11 in Dimapur, six in Phek, five in Mokokchung, three in Wokha and one in Zunheboto, taking the total caseload to 30,356.
On the recovery of COVID-19 patients in the State, a total of 66 patients reported recoveries throughout the state, out of the 20 patients from Mokokchung, 15 from Dimapur, 15 from Wokha, 10 from Kohima, four from Kiphire and two from Mon, with these the total recovery in the state went up to 28.084 per cent with a recovery rate of 92.51%.
Nagaland on Sunday had 736 active patients, out of which 569 active cases are asymptomatic, 114 are mild symptomatic, 15 are moderate on oxygen, 24 are severe on oxygen, eight are in ICU without a ventilator and six patients are admitted in ICUs on ventilators, the bulletin said.
With no report of any deaths of the pandemic, the total number of death figures in the state remained at 626, the bulletin informed.
