Nagaland records 326 new COVID-19 cases

With the addition of these new cases, the total number of cases in the state has reached 19,284, out of which 4519 are active cases while a total of 13,924 people have recovered, till now.

Kohima: Nagaland recorded 326 new cases of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the state to 19,284.

Nagaland Health Minister Pangnyu Phom said on Thursday that among the 326 fresh cases, the highest ie 161 were recorded in Dimapur, followed by 100 in Kohima, 16 in Tuensang, 14 in Zunheboto, 12 in Mokokchung, 12 in Mon, seven in Phek, two in Wokha, one in Longleng and one in Peren.

On a brighter side, 218 patients recovered in Nagaland today, out of whom 118 were from Dimapur, 78 from Kohima, 15 from Mokokchung, three from Longleng, two from Peren and two from Zunheboto, Mr. Phom said.

With the addition of these new cases, the total number of cases in the state has reached 19,284, out of which 4519 are active cases while a total of 13,924 people have recovered, till now. The state’s COVID-related death toll has risen to 234.
