Nagaland records 31 new COVID positive cases

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 31 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from seven districts of Nagaland with 19 cases in Dimapur, five cases in Mokokchung, three in Kohima, three in Phek and one in Peren, taking the total caseload to 30990.

Kohima: In the latest COVID-19 situation in Nagaland, the number has decreased to 31 new cases yesterday, which increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases to 30,990 so far and with three more deaths, the death toll rose up to 658.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 31 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from seven districts of Nagaland with 19 cases in Dimapur, five cases in Mokokchung, three in Kohima, three in Phek and one in Peren, taking the total caseload to 30990.

On the recovery of COVID-19 patients in the State, 35 recovered yesterday, 14 positive patients from Mokokchung, 11 patients from Kohima, seven from Dimapur, two from Kiphire and one from Phek, taking the total recovery patients to 28,913, with a recovery rate of 93.29 per cent.

The state currently has 459 active cases in the state out of which 356 are asymptomatic, a total of 79 cases are mild symptomatic, three are moderate on oxygen, 12 severe symptoms, six are receiving oxygen support, three are admitted in ICUs without a ventilator and three are in the ICU on ventilator support. With one more patient died from the pandemic in Dimapur, the death toll remained at 658, the bulletin said.
