Nagaland records 237 new COVID positive cases

Kohima: Nagaland recorded 237 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, state Health Minister Pangnyu Phom said today.

Among the fresh cases, the highest 2128 were registered in Kohima in, followed by 89 in Dimapur, five in Mon, four in Tuensang, three in Phek, three in Mokokchung 116, six in Mokokchung, three in Longleng and two in Peren.

In recoveries, a total of 128 more patients recovered, which comprises of 86 in Kohima, 37 in Dimapur, four in Mon and one in Mokokchung, Mr Phom said.

The total number of cases has now reached 16.150, of which the active cases are 2,948 while 12,687 people have recovered.
