Nagaland records 218 new COVID positive cases

A total of 16,205 people have been recovered so far and the COVID related death toll rose to 386, as of Wednesday.

Kohima: Nagaland recorded 218 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday increasing the total number of coronavirus cases in the state to 22,072.
Nagaland Health Minister Pangnyu Phom informed on Wednesday that among the 218 fresh cases, the highest 86 cases were recorded in Dimapur, followed by 40 in Mokokchung, 34 in Kohima, 31 in Tuensang, nine in Phek, seven in Wokha, five in Zunheboto, three in Kiphire one in Longleng, one in Mon and one in Peren.
Regarding recoveries, a total of 94 more COVID positive patients recovered in Nagaland on Wednesday, which included 20 in Kohima, 20 in Dimapur, 12 in Longleng, 10 in Mokokchung, nine in Mon, eight in Tuensang, six in Kiphire, five in Zunheboto and four in Wokha, Mr Phom said.
With these the total number of cases has now reached 22,072, the active cases are now 4,832. A total of 16,205 people have been recovered so far and the COVID related death toll rose to 386, as of Wednesday.
