Nagaland records 13 new COVID positive cases

On the recovery of COVID-19 infected patients in the State, altogether 10 patients were recovered from the pandemic with four from Kohima, three from Dimapur, two from Mokokchung and one in Peren, taking the cumulative total of recovered cases to 30,008 with a recovery rate of 93.95 per cent.

Kohima: Nagaland has recorded 13 new cases yesterday, which increased the total number of Corona virus-infected cases to 31,935 so far and with no more death reports, the toll remained at 689.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 13 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from five districts of Nagaland, with five cases in Dimapur, three cases in Kohima, two in Mokokchung, two in Peren and one in Zunheboto, taking the total caseload to 31,935.

Nagaland currently has 191 active cases of COVID-19, out of which 157 patients were asymptomatic, 20 were mild symptoms, five were moderate symptoms, five were severe symptoms and four were on ventilators in the ICU. With no more reports of the death of a COVID patient, the death tally remained at 689 during the day.
