Nagaland records 124 new COVID + cases, one death

Altogether 59 patients are recovered in the past 24 hours in the state

Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland yesterday increased to 124 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID -19 cases with this total of 27, 240 patients so far as of yesterday.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 124 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from all nine districts of Nagaland with 52 cases in Dimapur, 37 cases in Kohima, 11 in Mokokchung, 10 in Peren, four in Mon, three in Longleng, two in Tuensang and one in Kiphire, one in Wokha and one in Zunheboto, taking the caseload to 27,240.
In the recovery of COVID-19 infected patients, altogether 59 patients are recovered in the past 24 hours in the state, which became a total of 24,630 recoveries so far and the recovery rate now stands at 90.63 per cent Nagaland has now 1,312 active cases.
With one more death, that was reported in Dimapur, the death toll surged to 538, the bulletin said.
