Nagaland records 118 new COVID + cases, 2 deaths

With two more patients succumbed to their infection, both are in Dimapur, pushing the death toll to 581, the bulletin said.

Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland yesterday decreased to 118 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID -19 cases to 28,335 and the death toll to 581.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin Friday, among the 118 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from ten districts of Nagaland with 36 cases in Dimapur, 27 cases in Kohima, 20 in Zunheboto, 13 in Mokokchung, five in Tuensang, four in Peren, four in Phek, four in Wokha, two in Kiphire, two in Longleng and one in Mon, taking the total caseload to 28335.

On the recovery of patients, 87 persons recovered from the infection yesterday, taking the recovery tally to 25,603. There are total 1345 active cases, of them 1079 cases are asymptotic, 214 are with mild symptom, 26 are moderate with oxygen, 14 are severe with oxygen, nine are critical in ICU without ventilator and five are in ICU with ventilator.

With two more patients succumbed to their infection, both are in Dimapur, pushing the death toll to 581, the bulletin said.
