Nagaland records 113 new COVID positive cases, 6 deaths

The active cases in the state are 3887, and 18, 378 people have been recovered so far.

Kohima: Nagaland Thursday recorded 113 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID- 19 cases in the state to 23,350.

According to an official report Friday that among the 113 fresh cases, 47 cases reported from Mokokchung, 22 in Dimapur, 17 in Tuensang, 13 in Kohima,, five in Phek, four in Mon, two in Wokha, two in Zunheboto and one in Kiphire. A Total of 654 migrated people are among the infected patients yesterday.

A total of 117 patients recovered. The break-up is 51 from Dimapur, 30 from Tuensang, 12 patients from Kohima, seven from Phek, six from Kiphire, five from Wokha, five from Zunheboto and one from Mon till yesterday. A total of 3,26,191 persons have been inoculated in Nagaland as of June 10, the report said.

With these the total number of active cases has now reached 23,350, the active cases are now 3887, and 18, 378 people have been recovered so far.

Following the death of six more patients, two each in Dimapur and Phek and one each in Mokokchung and Kohima, the death toll rose to 441 out of which 14 were non-COVID deaths but with COVID positivity till yesterday, the report said.
