Kohima: Nagaland has recorded as many as 100 new cases of COVID-19, taking the tally to 26,576, the state Health Department said Sunday.
According to a Health bulletin, among the 100 fresh COVID cases, the new cases were detected from all ten districts of Nagaland with 36 cases in Dimapur, 25 cases in Kohima, 12 in Mokokchung, eight in Wokha, five in Peren, four in Phek and four in Tuensang, three in Longleng, two in Kiphire and one in Mon, taking the total caseload of infected patients in the state to 26,257.
Altogether 60 more COVID-19 infected patients recovered in the state and the total recovery stood at 24, 205 so far. As a result, Nagaland has total active cases of 1,112. With five more COVID related deaths in the state, two in Dimapur, two in Kohima and one in Mokokchung 524.
