Nagaland Govt to provide free COVID vaccines

Mmhonlumo Kikon stated that the Cabinet has decided to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to everyone below and above 18 years of age from May 1st.

Kohima: The Government of Nagaland has decided to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to all the citizens of Nagaland starting from 1st May next across the State.

In a press briefing Nagaland Government Spokesperson and Adviser to IT&C, Mmhonlumo Kikon stated that the Cabinet has decided to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to everyone below and above 18 years of age from May 1st.

He also informed that a total of 1,86,350 vaccines have so far been administered in the State so far and that Nagaland has a high rate of minimal wastage usage of the vaccine as compared to other States in the Country. There is no shortage of vaccines in the State, he added.
