Kohima: The Commissioner and Secretary of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Dr. P. J. Antony has informed that the seat of Shamator-Chessore Assembly Constituency is vacant following the death of Toshi Wungtung, Member of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
In an official release, the Commissioner and Secretary informed that Toshi Wungtung, elected from Shamator-Chessore Assembly Constituency, Member of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and who was holding the charge of Advisor for the Departments of Information & Public Relations, SCERT and the Village Guards, passed away on 1st July, 2021 in New Delhi.
He informed that consequent upon his demise, the Shamator-Chessore Assembly Constituency seat has become vacant with effect from 3rd July, 2021, the release said.
