Moderate quake jolts Guwahati; no loss of life reported

Guwahati: An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Guwahati and nearby areas on Wednesday morning.

According to National Center for Seismology (NCS), the quake, which occurred at 0845 hrs, was epicentred in Goalpara district of Assam.

However, there was no report of loss of life or damage to property so far.
