Imphal: Sekmai Assembly constituency MLA Heikham Dingo Singh distributed daily essential items to hundreds of households which are now under micro-containment zones of the constituency on Saturday.
The essential items were distributed by the Covid-19 Frontline Warrior Group of Sekmai AC under the aegis of MLA Dingo to over 400 households, including 135 at Phayeng Ching Khunou. The other areas include Phyeng, Phumlou Keiroi, Phumlou Siphai, Sanjenbam, Haorang Keirel, Kadangband, Loitang Leikinthabi, Lairenkabi and Awang Sekmai
Around 4500 households have been provided essential items so far by the MLA since the second wave of Covid pandemic hit the constituency, said the office of MLA Dingo.
While distributing the essential items, the warrior group conveyed MLA’s Dingo’s commitment of uninterrupted supply of all items to all families. The MLA also expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Officer-in-charge and his team of Lamsang police station for their tireless effort of looking after his constituency.
