Senapati/Kangpokpi: Joining the rest of nationwide Live interaction programme with the Prime Minister of India and beneficiaries of Government of India schemes, the District Administration of Senapati and various beneficiaries of government schemes also participated the interaction programme at Multi-Purpose Hall at Mini Secretariat, Senapati.
Speaking as the chief guest on Monday’s programme, Minister PHED, CAF & PD L. Susindro Meitei, applauded the Prime Minister of India for introducing various government schemes and reaching out to different sections of people. He also said that those projects which have been taken up in the previous government will be looked into and complete the unfinished work in the district. He also appealed to the members present to make use of government schemes and work out sincerely for a better society.
MLA Mao AC Losii Dikho, speaking as the guest of honour stated that a lot of changes can be seen in our country as a whole under the leadership of the Prime Minister through various schemes for the countrymen. He also said that the implementation and introduction of various government schemes show that government is growing. He also appealed to the members present to be sincere and committed citizens by taking up their own responsible work.

Meanwhile, Textiles, Commerce & Industry and Cooperation Minister, Nemcha Kipgen hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’ as it ensures holistic development of all parts of the country with emphasis on inclusive growth. This was stated by the Minister while gracing the “Garib Kalyan Sammelan”, a virtual interaction programme with the Prime Minister of India organised by District Administration Kangpokpi at Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Hall in Kangpokpi Headquarters Monday.
While expressing her gratitude to the PM for introducing various welfare schemes and programmes for the welfare of the people, Minister Smt Nemcha called upon all to avail such schemes introduced by the Government to uplift their socio-economic status.
Caretaker Chairman ADC SH Kangpokpi, Haokholal Hangsing: DC, Kangpokpi, Kengoo Zuringla, SP, Kangpokpi, Amrita Sinha; DLOs, officials and scheme beneficiaries were part of the interaction program.
In today’s programme, various government schemes of films were exhibited and experiences were shared by the beneficiaries.
The programme was attended by J. Kumo Sha, MLA 47- Karong AC, SDO’s, DLO’s, Civil Society Organisation leaders, village authorities and beneficiaries of various schemes.
