Imphal: Minister (TA & Hills) Vungzagin Valte attended the certificate distribution ceremony held for the Scheduled Tribe Paramedical trainees who successfully completed different paramedical courses from Escent Institute of Paramedical Sciences & Skill Development, Imphal at Conference Hall, TA & Hills Department Saturday as the chief guest. The trainees were sponsored by the Directorate of Tribal Affairs and Hills, Manipur.
The courses include Bachelors of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT), Bachelor of Science in Radio-Imaging Technology (B.Sc. RIT), and diploma courses.
Speaking on the Minister Valte said that Manipur is marching ahead in the field of medical sciences and its allied activities through the numerous initiatives taken up by the government to boost the health sector of the state. “Training of the tribals will help in providing health services to the far-flung tribal areas” he added. Urging the trainees to march ahead and serve the people in need, the minister also encourages them to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired through this training to uplift humanity wherever they are.
Expressing his appreciation for imparting quality education and training to the students, the Minister said Escent Institute of Paramedical Sciences and Skill Development is a valuable asset for the people of Manipur.
The Minister also released a Souvenir published by the institute under the sponsorship of TA & Hills.
