Imphal: Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh Monday chaired a review meeting in connection with the implementation of development schemes under the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj at the conference hall of his office chamber at New Secretariat here.
The discussion mainly focused on the implementation of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Grameen (PMAY-G) in the State.
During the meeting, RD&PR Commissioner Nidhi Kesharwani highlighted the progress of implementation of the schemes in the State.
The meeting was also attended by District Commissioners/District Programme Coordinators and officials of RD&PR.
