Members of Tibetan Parliament-in exile call on Sikkim Governor

Gangtok: Three members of the Dharamshala-based Tibetan Parliament in exile called on Sikkim Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya at the Raj Bhavan here.

The delegation is on a short visit to the state.

Governor Acharya highlighted India’s responsibility towards the welfare of the Tibetan people, in India and wished them the best.

Earlier, the Tibetan Parliamentary members expressed gratitude to the Government of India for the unwavering support given to the Tibetan community for over 64 years. They discussed the preservation of their culture and history.
