Shillong: The Meghalaya government has appointed State BJP president Ernest Mawrie as Adviser to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
Mawrie will advise the Chief Minister on matters relating to the development of the North Eastern Region, the Tourism and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department with perks and facilities under Category ‘A’ with effect from the date of assumption of charge.
