Imphal: Manipur’s best performing Community Health Officers were felicitated for their commendable services to people at the conference hall of Indian Medical Association here on Wednesday.
Organised jointly by the Community Health Officer Union, Manipur and Community Health Officer Community of India, selected best CHO from different districts of the State were honoured with certificates and momentos.
It may be noted that the felicitation program was supposed to be held on May 12th, 2021, the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, also known as ‘The Lady with the Lamp’, however it was cancelled due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
Dr N Shyamjai Singh, Mission Director, State Health Society, Manipur and Dr S Sucheta Devi, State Nodal Officer, HWC, State Health Society participated as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively.
