Manipur to observe two-day state mourning as a mark of respect to Lata Mangeshkar

Imphal: Manipur will observe two-day state mourning from February 6 -7, 2022 as a mark of respect to Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar who passed away in the morning of February 6, as per an order issued by the Deputy Secretary (GAD) Government of Manipur on February 6 on behalf of the Governor of Manipur.

During the period of the state mourning all National Flags will be flown at Half Mast on all buildings throughout the state where National Flag is regularly flown and there will be no official entertainment, the order added.
