Imphal: Manipur reported zero Covid-related death, 23 new positive cases among the general population and 28 recoveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Wednesday, as per an official release from the Health Department
Of the 23 persons who tested positive from the general population, 11 are from Imphal West, five from Imphal East and four from Bishnupur, two from Churachandpur and one from Kangpokpi.
Altogether, 1,985 persons were tested for a positivity rate of 1.4 %.
Meanwhile, 28 persons recovered and were discharged, nine of them from home isolation, 11 from CCCs and eight from JNIMS. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 98.16 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 25,429 out of which 1,23,119 have recovered leaving 325 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on December 7, 2021, is 5,647, the cumulative number of doses administered is 22,07,200 (1st dose 12,94,106, 2nd dose 9,13,094).
